Waiting for the light to grow…San Diego Family Photography

Everyday in the fall, as I travel down to the barn to feed the horses, I watch the light.  What is doing at all times of the day, how it is back -lighting the leaves,  the avocados, persimmons and pomegranates.  They way it changes as things grow.  I am a little obsessed with light!  My business partners at Stylish Details weddings and Cowgirls for a Cause can vouch for that!!  We have almost crashed the car watching for light.

Where was I??  Oh yes, meet Frankie Cavallo.  I have had the privilege to watch and photograph her grow, from maternity pics to newborn ,6 months and now 18 months. When Lori and Tom called to do their annual holiday card  I just knew she would be perfect in my persimmon field.  The most beautiful thing was watching her face as she played in the simple lush field of greens and gorgeous shades of orange. In her pink boots, her hats and her tutu, like… she simply always dresses this way and frolics in a farm field. I love it and her!
