Mandy+Ryan are married! {Orange County wedding photography}

As we pack up the gear to head to our wedding this weekend in Newport I had to share just one quick sneak peak from our Rock the Dress session last night for Mandy and Ryan!!

We shot their destination wedding at the Hotel Corque and Old Mission Santa Ines wedding last month, but they had a very tight schedule between ceremony and reception.  Our gift to them was a Rock the Dress session in Corona del Mar near their home.  Mandy couldn’t wait to wear her dress again, she kept saying HOW FAST that day went, and Ryan was trooper as we carted the couch up and down the hill to the sea.  Our backs are all a little sore today, you should have seen  Sophie and I carrying that thing with Ryan, but it was worth every minute.  I can’t wait to share the rest and their entire wedding!!!

Meadow’s Delight Elopement {San Diego Wedding photography}

Our adventures in the last week have had us on the road to a beautiful wedding in Solvang, CA then a breathtaking horseback ride through the dunes of Montana De Oro and a styled session for the Viceroy  Santa Monica.  We finished the week with the sweetest little elopement ceremony in the middle of this gorgeous meadow.

Heidi contacted us because she said she ” just LOVED the way we use light to tell a story”.   LJ and I were grinning from ear to ear when we hiked out to the meadow they had chosen.   The bride looked at us and said “right???  I JUST knew you would love it!! ”    I had to share one sneak peek before I catch up on the other blogs in front of this.   It was such a great week  and when we got in the car to go home LJ and I looked at each other and said at the same time…. “Wow, we have the BEST job!!”   More to come….
